"Where you are needed, wanted, and loved."

Founded by Bill and Sue Ramsey, this ministry was established in their hearts in 1980 and formally opened its doors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit in 1984. Under the Ramseys' faithful stewardship, Fellowship For Christ became a vital beacon of hope and outreach in Southern Bakersfield. Their mission, to spread the Gospel, spanned the globe through innovative means: TV, radio, street evangelism, and active missionary work, including dedicated efforts to feed the needy.
Before going home to the Lord, Bill and Sue passed the vision's torch to Pastor Bryant and Misty Robinson. Known for their deep local roots and unwavering commitment to the Lord's labor, the Robinsons now lead Fellowship For Christ with the same enduring vision: to reach the world through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, rooted in fellowship and love. As Pastor Sue once said, Fellowship For Christ is "A name that urges us to attend"—a place where you are needed, wanted, and loved. Join us in continuing a history that bears fruit for our Lord.
Fellowship For Christ is a ministry driven by the call to shared life (the true meaning of fellowship), operating as a place where you are needed, wanted, and loved (Matthew 11:28-30). As our name urges us to attend (1 John 1:7, Hebrews 10:25), we gather under the standard that The Lord is Our Banner (Numbers 2:2-3).
Our mission is to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by anchoring our ministry in five foundational pillars:
We are committed to accomplishing this global vision by actively exercising all nine Gifts of the Spirit, working together to bear fruit for our Lord.
